What is the problem? Why would people not post on SI? If some people are bent out of shape and their friends aren't posting, then that accounts for it, not what SI is doing.

We get you are angry at some things that have transpired and have some legitimate concerns. We all do. It's this "our way or the highway" attitude that puts people off. If you want to make SI better then do something to make it work better for you and your constituency or following or whatever group you feel you address. SI now has lots of tools that make it easier to get info out to other people who share your interests. I've made my picks for the biotech charity and am facilitating discussion boards on those picks so others can have current information on those companies if they are following the contest. SI has made it easy to put together a subject and have all the information right there for people to look at. Here's the one I did for Five Prime. It's a very thinly traded stock and not much can be found all in one place for a biotech investor to look at. I think SI allows us a unique forum for our interests and provides everything all in one place. I don't expect people will feel a need to post something but I do know that people will find this a much better place to get facts then any other message board on the internet. There is no other forum, where I could have set this up. I wanted a thread for all my biotech picks for 2014 so I could have a place to update and not clog up the contest thread. That's the flexibility of SI you don't have anywhere else.
