The first chart is almost meaningless for the reasons laid out in the post. (Its also out of data, Obama's figure would be much higher now.)

Could you put that 2nd chart up and INCLUDE Carter?

I didn't create the charts. I'm not even sure what year the data is inflation adjusted to.
