My thoughts. 7% for a year is not high enough to attract me. I often use puts to try to buy stock at a discount. If I really want the stock, I usually write current month, near the price. Jan 34's for 0.26 would give you 3/4% for 3 weeks. Feb 34's at 0.55 give a similar return. If it doesn't get assigned try again next month.
