What do you mean? It was the American enterprise system that came up with it and Romney who put ir forth first. 90% of the ACA is a Republican idea.

Obama embraced it as part of his inside strategy thinking as it was their health care plan the pubs would work with him. But they refused just because it was an Obama/Dem roll out.

You can't be serious first calling it a compromise (when it was a 90% pub invention) and then using the fact no pubs voted for it as evidence. If they all voted against it, where is the compromise.

Do you realize how much logic you ground up in that one comment-lol?

Kudos to Obama for getting it passed, but we must change it. It is nuts, just like the medicare prescription program is nuts the way it is structured to favor our big pharma.

And we will never know how much more we could have gotten because Obama disbanded our army when we were the strongest we had been in decades and totally prepared to March on Rome.

Another general hesitated attacking Rome like after defeating half the roman army and lived to regret it, as Rome regrouped and hunted him down. Historians think he could have won had he pushed onto Rome.

I think we could have won much much more that we did had we Marched on the plutocrats.

<<It's a system derived out of compromise--one that had to accommodate the aims of many competing interests. IMHO it is inaccurate to call it Republican system--the majority of whom opposed it and didn't vote for it.

No votes there for universal medicare.
