Ok so what happens if the yield curve steepens with the new Fed chairperson behind the curve like Greenspan was in 2004-05? Maybe gold miner shots to da moon finally. Look at the yield curve last time was at 1% short end 5% long end for years before they started moving the short end up August 2004 We are far from even that point<g>.. Charts of miners show some went up a decent amount during the fed increases last time while others like NG or NGD went parabolic. . Seems Sept 2006 was the blowoff top right after the yield curve inverted though many miners continued even higher into 2008 quite amazing
