It'll take another couple of weeks for the rumour to really fade and even then it won't be forgotten. There's no reason to assume that a buyout should appear within 2 or 3 days of the appearance of the rumour. For all we know discussions could be on-going for some time. Or not, it's all open for endless speculation and rationalization- the trouble with rumours and why the creatures that float them are such loathsome pond scum. I tend to believe that the stock will easily see 35-40 in the next several months if estimates can be met for a couple of quarters. Heck, it could almost do it on a technical retracement alone. I do think Asia poses good reason for concern though and wonder how well it had been factored in the company's statements last week. However, ASND has been a very successful company -it's not going quietly into that good night. Of course neither are it's competitors, if they can help it.
