OK, Gents.

Earlier, I provided diamond counts four four samples weighing almost exactly one tonne. They are from four different tests of two different deposits. The actual weights varied, I normalized them to one tonne and then altered the weights by a kilogram or two just to throw you off.

Only Rocket Red dared venture in, and even then he didn't venture a guess.

He did nail the order of grade from best to worst, however.

In a few hours I will reply to that post, indicating which deposit is which, and what the original samples were.

It should be an eye-opener as to the variability (and margins of error) in not-so-small samples, and might even give you Chidliak optimists some cause for hope. (Not that you seem to need it.).
