S&P 500 forecast for the week of January 6, 2014, Technical Analysis

The S&P 500 fell during the balance of the week over the last several sessions, but as you can see there’s plenty of support below. We feel that the 1800 level will be massively supportive, and a market that is already massively bullish. That being the case, we welcome this pullback that should be coming, and will buy supportive candles as they appear. Selling is not a possibility until we clear the 1700 level, which is something that is certainly not going to happen anytime soon. Alternately, if we break to a fresh new high, we would have to start buying there as well.
