According to last year's annual report, $14.7 million out of a total of $37.8 million in sales were were from exports. I'm not sure how much of this was to the Asian market, but in 1996 8% of sales were to its new Japanese distributor. So clearly the Asian crisis could have a dampening effect on PTIS's earnings. I hope they are somewhat insulated from this, though, by their backlog which was $19 million at the end of the third quarter. The stock looks very reasonable to me at this price.
