Tim , I don't disagree with you too much. I think we've got too many entrenched bureaucracies in the central government and I'd like to see those CUT or even eliminated. What exactly do we need the Department of Education for when every City and County and State seems to have their OWN? It's not like all that extra money and "experts" has exactly improved our educational achievements. I do especially agree about raising the retirement age and cutting the cost of living adjustments.
