John, can confirm that there are rumors! and can confirm what has publically been announced, that NM is seeking a partner and utilizing Lehman Bros. Add the rumor that whoever is rumored to be in negotiations is a bad fit and that's why the stock fallout. If VVTV is the potential takeover partner, than I can see why insiders may not be thrilled, with VVTV's weakness. Also VVTV may be liquidating its media and TV (paxton deal)for more product and retail focus. Maybe NM management preferto be more focused on producing media content. This is all RUMOR AND PURE SPECULATION. But I do have a position based on their public announcement of merger attempts, and a gut feeling that they can and will recapture market share.
