ALS - although this thread is acting dead please keep posting here. if a few more of the smart folks had tossed off their opinion perhaps we could have a better idea on why the run . I looked at ALS when you posted it the first time and I was not sure what to make of it. (1) lost money in the quarter - negative (2) 30 million shares out - positive (3) they need to come up with 500 million - challenge (4) new asset will provide cash flow and should service the debt as long as the price of coal does not tank. (5) take out target 2-3 years down the road, IF they can squash their debt .. that is my take, amateurish as it is . Darn smart of you to post and bring it here.
