More like pure luck (accompanied by GaryBagss Gann Box analysis which was the final straw which convinced me VVUS would break to 18.5). However, the quick buy and sell this morning was a gamble based on previous experience and the large number of short shares that would want to take profits out. BTW, if as bond states, a conference call happens, expect a nice rebound to break above 15. If one is scheduled, I'd buy some shares at open and gamble that management can placate the institutions. My guess is that management would be crazy not to have a conference call (otherwise, they are sure to face a class action law suit -- which my bet is will be sure to come anyway).
