Paul, how would manipulation by shorts explain today's action? Yesterday's 3 point gain was left intact. And certainly, most people who are short on this stock got into it at lower prices than today's close. So they are not making money right this minute.

A better explanation is simply that today was a triple witching day, and this action is not unusual when you consider that. There really are too many shares in the float for anyone to manipulate the price much.

We longs have no reason to be unhappy with this week's events. Yesterday's upswing was the biggest upward movement in several weeks, and it came on heavy volume. And at 17 7/8, the stock is higher than it has been since the beginning of August.

It really does look like the bottom is around 14. The future is bright.
