FWIW, the statistics are based on Excel file (Excel 2010) which I've created.

You can download it here:

sendspace.com

1. In Yahoo, download historical prices into a file (Download option at the end of the historical prices page)


2. Retrieve my file. When asked, enable contents of the file.
3. Copy & Paste the historical prices into the downloaded file.
4. Click GO
5. You'll get many useful price statistics.
6. No maintenance required.
7. You can duplicate the worksheet to include many companies in the same file.
