Hi Rob,
I don't know perhaps you're right. But remember this? I don't think Corel wants another one of these.
Regards,

IBM affiliate makes most of PR coup with
corporate mooning
Lotus Development Corp. unveiled its new Java-based office software in
Ottawa yesterday, saying it has delivered what Corel Corp. could not -- a
fast, efficient Java workplace technology for midsize and large businesses.
It marked the first time Lotus' Canadian arm has launched new software in
Ottawa, and it even flew in journalists from Toronto and Montreal to the
event.
Lotus officials said the move was a deliberate public-relations strategy, a
corporate mooning of Corel and its chief executive, Michael Cowpland.
"We're here for two reasons. First, we have a large number of clients with
Lotus technology in Ottawa. Second, Corel is here. We want the world to
know that we have successfully delivered Java-based office software, even
if they didn't," said Fred Logan, a senior Lotus Canada executive.
Mr. Logan was alluding to Corel's decision in August to pull back from
delivering its much-hyped Office for Java suite of workplace software after
users criticized test versions of the new Corel product as being too slow.
