Dispose of it on-site: <oh yeah and they already tax my poops and pees via the flush tax > Boycott the tax. Dehydration, sterilization and disposal with household waste or via incineration are the way to go. Some system redesign should be easy. The whole flushing idea and centralized sewerage is expensive and absurd. All to get rid of a tiny amount of urine and poop. A few grams dry weight per day. If the water supply or sewerage go wrong, with the current system, everyone is in trouble. With on-site disposal, Al Qaeda can't break the system. A bit of polonium 210 in the water supplies or blockage of effluent and Al Qaeda would have caused major problems.

If people have their own water supply and waste disposal, the community would be more resilient in the event of macro problems.
