"AFAIK, out of four services offered by Nextel, only one (dispatch) is really unique. The other three will have to compete head-to-head with the PCS. For heavy phone users, it may be more economical to use a regular PCS handset for voice/paging and a separate DMR unit for dispatch."

PT, I have no idea what "AFAIK" means but you couldn't be more wrong on the rest of your comments above. You say the NXTL has "only" one unique feature. Well, duh, but that's what gets them to $70 arpu instead of Sprint's puny $45. Get it? NXTL has a value added service, Sprint (and everyone else in wireless) doesn't and won't have it for 3-5 years minimum. ADVANTAGE NEXTEL. (to the tune of $25 value added per arpu.)

NXTL users are willing to pay $70 arpu per month because they save money over having two instruments on their belt. You need to do your homework. ADVANTAGE NEXTEL.
