That it only flows seasonally proves nothing other than it doesn't run year round. It apparently dried up after the '06 quake, altho that is anecdotal. Endangered wetlands have been missing it for so long they no longer have any genetic memory of it. However, one pond is now a hangout for Canada Geese.
