This statement is entirely wrong and is based on poor reasoning.

When one measures the effect of a particular policy it is necessary to evaluate its consequences incrementally, and not absolutely.

Yours is an emotional conclusion, not a scientific one.

If you look at effect the corporate income tax has, it is a no-brainer that it should be done away with. It generates a minuscule amount of money ($200B/y) and for that, we are less competitive in the world, jobs go to other places, capital goes to other places, and we are all hurt by it.

If you eliminated the corporate income tax, the trillions that have found their way overseas would be here instead of there, employing people here instead of there, and creating new opportunities in the US rather than in other places.

It is stupid behavior to impose this tax at all as it drives out something we would all benefit from.

I don't know what it is about the Left, but it does seem to me you guys support everything that drags the country down and oppose everything that lifts people up.
