| Very Good post Chaz, i've been playing games for 7 years and it amazes me how far the games have developed visually, but have just
become another been there done that clone.
I managed to live through the "Interactive Movie" phase, when Sierra
finally got it right with Gabriel Knight 2, the term and the games
 have disapeared.
EA managed to make it because they bet on the Playstation and won.
That was a big gamble and it paid off.But will the 1,000 buck computers, 3D cards replace the Console?. That's the big question
now.It takes more resources to port to the consoles, games are alot
eaiser to make and develop for the computer since Bill gave us Win
 95.
Is the Internet the next frontier for games?,i love battle.net,
QuakeWorld, Bungie Net, every company is setting up servers, some
are asking us to even PAY to use them. Haven't these companys figured
out Kali or Kahn exist. I wouldn't give TEN or any of them a dime, i can play all day and night for free.
As a gamer it's going to be sad to see the big gorillas selling
games so the stock holders are happy. There's still Interplay,Bungie,
BlueByte etc, they can and are putting out good games, but can
 they even make it?
I was a little harsh with the word "suck", i know what this
business is like,it's do or die for alot of these companys. SEVL,
Merit,Sanctuary Woods all either died or merged this past year. This
coming year is going to be very interesting, especially if Holiday
 sales are dissappointing.
