There are many examples you can cite of pagan elements in Catholicism, Our Lady of Guadalupe isn't one of them.
I would say she is the best example where Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin who had more faith in his heart than the entire Catholic Church of the time was chosen for a miracle. It was because of this pagan injection that Catholicism quickly began to flourish. I've been there half a dozen times and the place is packed with Mexican and Mexicans of strong Indian heritage.
Following the Conquest in 1519–21, the Spanish destroyed a temple of the mother-goddess Tonantzin at Tepeyac outside Mexico City, and built a chapel dedicated to the Virgin on the site. Newly converted Indians continued to come from afar to worship there, often addressing the Virgin Mary as Tonantzin
