Fair enough, my mistake. However, similar reasoning applies. Who cares whether someone is an active yacker of nonsense? I certainly don't. Perhaps if we had a quality rubric measuring the value of a post, and highlighted the strongest value added posters, it would be meaningful.

One thing I've always enjoyed about SI is the willingness of members to spend time organizing their point of view and posting thoughtful exchanges. One of the main reasons I suppose I never really enjoyed Twitter, which is all about the ego need of the poster. "How many followers can I get, and how much tripe can I put into a sentence others will read".

Twitter is the perfect example of why intelligence in America is going down the tube. No real understanding on issues, stocks or subjects, just information and noise for noise sake.
