I haven't read much on the Gates flap, but from the limited chatter I've read, he appears to be bashing Obama for Obama's failure to "believe" in Obama's Afghanistan strategy. Which raises two questions 1) Did Gates believe in the strategy? and 2) if he didn't did does he have any strategy for Afghanistan that he himself does believe in?
