I'm diabetic and I doubt that HFCS is any worse for me than sugar. The only reason it is used so much is due to cost. If sugar was cheaper it would replae HFCS and they would say that sugar is killing us.

As for obesity, its more a result of ignorance and poor management of intake (which includes any/all forms of sugar) but esp are overindulgence in carbohydrates.

Fighting childhood obesity is easy: like taking candy from a baby.
