The Korean WON has dropped 50% in the past two to three months. You know what it means to CPQ ? It means the components and DRAM price will drop further. The 8" wafers
with 0.5um double metal cmos process used to be around $1200 - $1500 per piece, with the
drop of WON, it means the wafer price will drop at least 30% to 40%, and the cost of testing
will also be reduced in term of $$$$
