You just misled someone on X's hate thread. Bragging to a poster how your daughter had bought a house a year and a half out of college ... w/o mentioning you financed it out of your own inheritance.

Not that there's anything wrong with that ... it seems obvious your commercial bldg investment was another passing on of your 7 figure inheritance from your parent to that or another child. Might be a good idea to pass the money on to the next generation and in the form of illiquid real estate which they owe money to Dad on. You can keep it from going up in smoke or something. Plus with it passed on quickly, you won't send it up in smoke either.
