Zeuspaul, The useage will be driven by legislation for cleaner air, and not economics. Eventually they will get the smog under control by incren\mental changes that froce a greater and greater use of non smmissive cars and trucks. A carbon tax would help, althoug we have a gas tax now. But a bigger one applied all over the world so we can make our industries take it in the knowledge that all take it.(can this be done?, but refusing imports from poluting factories, like refusing to buy clothes from child labour operations.
