It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. The FCC could rewrite the rules and re-institute net neutrality, but I doubt they will.
Part of the problem is the huge conflict of interest between the carriers and the information/programs carried on the internet.
For example: Comcast and Time Warner are both in the news and entertainment business. So they very well may implement rules that discourage competition. They certainly hate Netflix, since it has taken millions of eyeballs off their programs. And since they have limited competition in most cities for internet access, raise rates on both ends. I've had a very good antenna in place for awhile now. It may be time.
