Agreed on the base. That is actually something that protects the dollar. Global transaction require a huge base. I think that the USA still has a low population to land base. If and when resources are allowed to be harvested we will protect and strengthen the Dollar. I'm by no means an expert - but resources do create great wealth and we have saved/ protected quite a lot.
