Their product has been used in Japan for 15 years, if memory serves me. It's the US FDA that's the stumbling block. They sold the rights in Japan way, way back when and that's why there's no revenue at this time.

Literally for the past 3 or 4 years, they've been "close" to getting approval but they have been forced time and again to "prove" that the product works. Well, they've done that, finally.

There's a reason why the stock keeps tanking and it's not because they have to dilute the shareholders. It's because this has taken longer than anyone would have expected, thanks to our lovely bureaucrats.

I could be totally wrong about this company, I fully admit it. Yet it seems that this latest hurdle that they cleared has been the one stumbling block in their path for the past 5 years. That's why I am a little surprised by the total "sell the news" reaction. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised when a stock goes up 150% to see it sell off but for $1.50 to come out of it since the open seems extreme.....but that's probably my bias.

We'll see how it plays out. My guess is that they've been approached by Big Pharma and refused to partner until they were able to get across this first hurdle. Why sell something for a few bucks when you believe it's worth 10, 20 or more?
