That ski trip was the first time I have ever been skiing and not fallen down even once. I have previously challenged myself and that occasionally ending in a puff of snow and a few choice words. My son has now been skiing three times for a total of 5 days on the slopes. He wanted to stay on slopes that were only somewhat challenging for him. I don't blame him. He went down enough. In the end we both had fun.

One thing learned on this trip is that if you stay on slopes that are much easier than you used to ski and you won't fall on your own. I was vigilant enough that nobody else caused me to fall either.

I am sorry you had to give it up. I know you must have enjoyed it.
