Brumar, what a ridiculous article that Philip Guo wrote.

How did this guy get into MIT? Why does he discredit himself for being able to pick up programming when many people I know, including Asians, can't even figure out the concept of 1's and 0's? Why does he insult other programmers out there when he claims his summer internship was just an exercise in slacking?

This guy is just full of self-loathing. The truth is not everyone who looks like him can get into programming. Some of them become doctors, musicians, lawyers, writers, even basketball players and Navy SEALs (e.g. James Suh, who died in Afghanistan in the incident depicted in the latest movie "Lone Survivor").

This is just more proof that liberalism is a luxury for the rich, successful, and BORED.

P.S. - I applied to MIT but got rejected. Maybe I should have reminded them how I "looked the part" ...
