Well, considering just the possibilities, one approach is they could take charges over a number of quarters. Or more likely, since even today's Prominent acquisition doesn't close until late March, an acquisition announced soon would likely be closed in April anyway.

Don't know if it would be this week, but Nortel is another obvious potential suitor and has been publically considered as such. I'm long some shares and will give it some time. I think ASND is not a bad value longer term in the mid 20s anyway.
