I held shares in it at that time also. But, to expect an award of 3-4 billion for a company that was only worth around $570 million at the time of the disaster is out of bounds.

Besides that, BP didn't put ATP out of business, piss poor management did! Having been involved in this mess I am now a firm believer that these fools would have eventually put themselves out of business anyway.

Now, do you truly believe a judge is going to award a company that's assets have already been sold through bk a 3-4 billion judgement? We may wish it but in reality it's just not gonna happen IMO.
