Bob: Your MACD histogram certainly gives a clear picture of buy and sell points. The idea of using "if" functions to come up with a two-colored histogram highlighting when MACD is rising and falling is ingenious. I'm marveling at it right now. Thanks for posting the formulas. It would be easy to insert variables into the formula, too, to get histograms for any periods. As for whether this belongs on the WOW thread, at least it grew out of a discussion of QP's formula for MACD. And the WOW folks are absorbed in discussions on the thrills and chills of real-time quotes. Brooke
