In the latest Barrons Oscar Schafer is pushing Orkla again. He thinks it will be sold at some point. I am not so sure. The chairman owns 20%, and if he sold he would have to figure out something new. They are getting more focused on food and consumer products, where they have the best positions in Scandinavia, and have divested most of their boneheaded divisions. The whole point of owning Nestle and Unilever is that you can hold on and not trade them, and I would do the same with Orkla in his position. But what do I know?

Imperial is doing nicely.
