US is very unique when it comes to the country's cruelty to
it's own population, ones not the best and the brightest,
but ones sick and unemployed. However, it always was that way.
When it's bad, it's really bad? Really shameful for a rich nation.
Why help kids in Africa? Plenty are starving here. Or, is it because
we can't really acknowledge what is actually happening?

The picture from labor participation data is clear - ones who used
to get unemployment check currently get paid zero.
