Well Simon, since Bulls and Bears are purely our concoctions (I do believe, though admittedly rather strange concoctions at that) it does seem fair to submit them to the anthropomorphic prism. In fact, when it comes to the greatest Bull in history how can you have mere Head and Shoulders and no Horns or Tail (and what are heads and shoulders, cups and handles, coils, breakouts, unfilled gaps, etc., if not metaphors for human psychology and feeling?) But, at any rate, we, on this thread at least, can hold out the hope of getting a possibly more informative perspective on such matters, i.e. our possibly erroneous projections onto species other than ourselves, from the likes of a 12 Foot Chicken. |
