Nobody wants a job, they want money with which to buy things. <What’s the point of economic growth if nobody has a job?> If they don't have to have a job simply to get money to get food, housing etc, and economic growth with computers does all the work leaving people free to do anything they like, that is much much better. We have been making great progress in that direction for hundreds of years, with the process really gaining momentum over the last 30 years. Personally, my economic growth has achieved that idyllic state. I do not want a job. I'm far too busy doing things I want to do. If everyone could be like that, it would be great.
