Wrong again Dale. The things you don't know but think you do know could fill the servers of SI.

Politics was discussed on SI long before 9/11. In fact, it goes back to almost the beginning of the site in the coffee shop area. There was a time when people could disagree, move on and still be civil with one another.

The ugliness began during the election of Clinton to his first term.
