Hi WharfRat; Re: "That's a 24 year period, not 10. Hansen's '81 prediction was 33 years, not 10.";

Of course the predictions look better if you go back to 1981. The period 1981 to 1998 was one of considerable warming. Those were the good years for warmists.

The problem for you are the years from 1998 to 2014. Next year your problem will be the years from 1998 to 2015, LOL.

And that's why the IPCC, unlike you, admitted the problem.

You get an "okay" fit only, at best, because you cherry picked the end points. On the other hand, there are plenty of accusations that the graph you presented is built out of manipulated data. But I won't address that because the graph you presented is not a part of the peer reviewed literature. And so the criticism of it is also not peer reviewed. Your graph came from a newspaper article published at The Guardian. I don't need to give a critique of net garbage.

Now go back and bring me peer reviewed literature supporting your ridiculous claim that climate models predicted the pause.

Go on. Don't wait around here! Go look for peer reviewed literature supporting your position.
