Dunno about the Krag, but a lot of 03s are cheap enough to enjoy. Garands and Carbines importation has been banned by Obama's ink pen, all over $1k now if you want one. Couple of companies are building new ones, Fulton and JamesRiver. I'd stay far away from AutoOrdnance carbine, it's not mil-spec and a lot of parts won't swap. Also the reviews are pretty bad if you read around. I'd like to have one (abt $600) but I got an AK (lot cheaper) instead to enjoy.
