Limit Orders placed many moons ago were triggered a little while ago. Still have a few shares left so I am not leaving and if anyone feels bad for me, don't. I still remember hanging out with a now CNBC regular years ago in the City with mutual friends at an investor conference. On that particular day, the company we all had serious money in was presenting and in the midst of a similar run up. This money guy politely suggested that any time you are up more than 100%, you should take some off the table. I was up more than 300% at the time and thought he was jealous because he sold during the recent run up while I held on. He was right - eventually. In the meantime, I continued to hold while the stock went a little higher and then longer until they went out of business a couple of years later.

I might be missing a much larger move here, but some six months ago, I had written this off. So, yes, my limits were triggered at well more than 400% ROI with a few shares left. I use limit orders because I am OTTG -- Old to the Game.
