Baker was a self-obsessed sh*t whose calling card was always snarkily talking behind other's backs. A self- proclaimed investment advisor....without a license or credentials. A former 'diplomat', eh, whatever. A minor, picayune (and now bitter) bureaucrat is more like it. Probably canned for whatever reason, likely his obnoxious personality. I'd say he exhibited zero diplomatic skills, and certainly less than zero in his dealings with SI. Legend in his own mind. I'm sure SI had very good reasons to banish him. Apparently so.
