PT, at the annual meeting Akerson said that only 10% of new customers choose phones without direct connect. Why a NXTL customer would select a non-direct connect phone is beyond me, given the freebies offered by the commodity companies like Sprint. What serious business person doesn't need to have better and faster communication with his employees, customers and suppliers? Nextel's Direct Connect offers that. No one else does. ADVANTAGE NEXTEL.
The truth is that Sprint has the advantage over NXTL in the low end of the business. Since NXTL decided long ago to leave that commodity business to others, it's no loss. With less spectrum they need to maximize their opportunity. They're doing that in spades with $70 arpu. ADVANTAGE NEXTEL.

Nextel will be one of only a handful (three, maybe four) wireless companies with a national footprint, thus adding value in a climate where millions are adding cellular service each year. Compare the wireless industry's size today with several years ago when McCaw sold to AT&T and you'll easily see how we'll get to $100 a share and beyond. And I haven't even discussed the international business. It's a no brainer. ADVANTAGE MY WALLET.
