There is great rotation from poor to rich and back again.


That's the problem. There isn't a great rotation. Economic mobility in the US is one of the lowest in the developed world, about half of most of the others. Lower than even Great Britain, although not by much. If you are born poor, you are likely to remain poor. if you are born rich, you are likely to remain so.

That used to be different. But that was before trickle down economics...
