"It lacks the tangible value one sees in those priceless violins."
Hoping to see you back at that cafe in Cremona
Michael,
I can't believe you remember that post! I enjoyed writing a little history with a with a punch line. "It was a lovely day, as I sat in the outdoor cafe in Cremora, as I glanced over at the elderly gentelman, he motioned for me to come sit at his table."
It went something like that. If SI had a search engine that would go back that far, I would have found it and reposted. It's up there somewhere ???
Thanks for letting me know someone reads my posts. It appears I had more responce to my Amati Thread post than any another of my posts this year, a total of five in less than 24hrs, all at once, hummmm finaly a post that generated some responce ;^}
I'll have to catch up on the other responces, from Ray, Pat, John K., srvhap, this weekend.
I would like to hear more from John Morrison on the Tendering Issue by Coiffi. From what I read the first time through, it never even stated Cioffi's #shares, which lead me to a conclusion similiar to John's "Do you think Dr. John is tendering his 1,617,978 shares?"
This weekend I hope to be able to put together a post with some news items I found this week, ones that I found interesting, and one statistic from Dataquest, which I found very fasinating. Can you think of an industry that will go from $6.46bn to $15bn in 2001, to 500bn in 2010? Anyone?
Does this not sound extreme?
Worth further research.....?
