The ultimate customer for the pr was big pharma and the FDA. That pr kicked the china deals up a notch I would assume.

The parabolic rise in the sp recently was not due to retail shareholders. It was the bear raid people spiraling up the sp and at the peak letting in the retail lambs to be slaughtered. The company did not see the raid coming and once executed had little they could do about it.

Now back to what is important...none of this mess affects the end game process. Big pharma got to see the mind of the FDA.
