Agree with you Rutgers on your last points. From what i hear the PR was changed to sthg much softer.
The mood had changed with the stock crashing, advisers and lawyers involved, and AF having a 24/7 go at the company. Anything looking potentially dodgy or too good to be true would be a waste of lawyers time with many angry share holders blaming the company for the SP fall and some suing for having said this and that.
I think Culpepper had planned a listing, papers were signed etc..and the mood was massively upbeat.
Came the nuke and with the FDA on side, they preferred to release sthg softer and reduce the exposure.

But i, personally, read the news as good news: the FDA would never agree to a 28 patient OLD data if it wasn't first convinced the drug offers some clear facts. I think the odds are good and AA is still on the table.
